    3x + 4y = 10 2x - 2y = 2 OR x - y = 1 Multiply by 3 in equation 2 x - y = 1 × 3 3x - 3y = 3 Using Elimination method 3x + 4y = 10 3x - 3y = 3 7y = 7 y = 1 Putting the value of y in equation 1 3x + 4y = 10 3x + 4 = 10 3x = 10 - 4 3x = 6 x = 2
