(i) if the egg is fertilised , a zygote will form and the it divides in many cells forming a embryo that implated on the linings of uterus . (ii) if the egg is not fertilised the thick uterus lining breaks down. The blood, tissues and the non-fertilized egg come out of the ****** as menstruation. (iii)a) Uterus prepares itself to nurture growing embryo. Its lining thickens. It Is richly supplied with blood to no wish growing embryo. (b)Then the thick and soft Inner lining of uterus is no longer required; so It breaks.
