5{ a + ( n-1)d} = 10{ a+( n-1)d} 5{ a+(5-4)d} = 10{ a+(10-1)d} a+4d = 10{ a+9d}÷5 a+4d = 2(a+9d) a+4d = 2a+18d -14d = a taking it an equation 1 15th term of AP = a+(n-1)d = -14d + (15 -1)d from eq. 1 = -14d + 14d = 0

5( a+4d) = 10( a +9d) 5a+ 20d = 10a +90d -70d= 5a a =-14d So, 15th term = a+ 14d = -14d+ 14d = 0
