A(alpha)+B(beta)=8 A(alpha)×B(beta)=12 as we know, A+B=-b/a therefore, -b/a=8/1 so, b=-8,a=1 Now as we know, A×B=c/a therefore, c/a=12/1 so, c=12 Now,as we know quadratic polynomials are in the form of ax²+bx+c=0 therefore, x²-8x+12=0 x²-4x-3x+12=0 x(x-4)-3(x-4)=0 (x-4)(x-3)=0 Now, if, x-4=0 Therehore, x=4 And, if, x-3=0 Therefore, x=3.
