Speed of aeroplane due north = 1000 km/h Time = 3/2 hr We know that, Distance = speed * time = 1000*3/2 = 1500km Now, Speed of aeroplane due west = 1200km/h Time =3/2hr We know that, Distance = speed *time = 1200*3/2 = 1800km Now, Using Pythagoras theorem, After finding, we get Distance between two aeroplane after 3/2 hr= 300√61km
