Mrs. Pearson faced the common problem of being neglected by her family members, which most of the home makers today face. She worked for them day and night and made everything perfect but they never recognised her efforts. Neither did they thank her for the same. Instead, they directly demanded her for things and treated her no more like a domestic servant. They all went out, and returned home only when they needed something or they wanted to get something done, and then left her in the house alone again to enjoy themselves. Thus, Mrs. Pearson was disconsolate by the behaviour metted out to her by her own family members.
