Mrs. Pumphrey was very loving towards her dog Trickie. She used to feed the dog lot thinking it was malnutritioned.

The question has been asked from the story A Triumph of Surgery.
Pumphrey pampered Trickie too much and spoiled her pet dog. She gave the dog all sorts of facilities including day and night bed, cushions, toys and rubber rings, many food bowls etc.
This over pampering made Trickle unwell and the dog had put on a lot of weight. The dog was being overfed items such as cakes, and chocolates.
Then, Dr. Harriot was called upon to see the dog for a cure.
