Kx²+6x+1=0 a=K, b=6, c=1 D=b²-4ac =36-4×1×k =36-4k=0 =36=4k =36/4=k =9=k

if roots are equal then, then b²-4ac=0, putting values we get 6²-4k=0. So, k = 9.
