1st law of reflection- The incident ray,reflected ray and normal all lie in a same plane. 2nd law of reflection-Angle of incident equal to the angle of reflection. (<i=<r) 1st law of refraction-The incident ray ,refracted ray and normal to the interface of two transparent media at the point of incident ,all lie in a same plane 2nd law of refraction-The ratio of sin(<i )to the sin(<r)is constant Uses of concave mirror 1.It is used in torch light, headlight of vehicles 2.It is used as shavings mirror Uses of convex mirror 1.It is used as side view mirror in vehicle to see all the traffic behind . 2.It is used in jewellery shop and in telescope etc..
