It is not mentioned in our constitution that our india is federal country but we have also the features of federal government , and these are Government division of power between three levels there work divide on the basis of there list which clearly mentioned in our constitution , all govern the same citizen if there is any conflict court resolve it, it also promote equallty, may be ye question ka answer NCERT mai esa nahi hoga but esay language mai likhna chahiye mere hisab se to isliye maine ese likha hai , may this help you
