As AB is chord of length 8 cm we can find the radius of circle by using Pythagoras theorem. Therefore 5²=4²+ OP² 25-16=OP² 9=OP² OP=√9 OP=3 Proof 3²= 5²* 2AB | 25-9= 2AB 16=2AB AB =16/2 AB=8cm
