A pure inductor of 25mh is connected to a source of 220v.Find inductive reactance and rms current in the circuit, frequency of source is 50Hz.

Inductance of Inductor, L = 25 m H
                                          = 25 x 10-3 H
Supply Voltage, V = 220 V
Frequency, f = 50 Hz
 Inductive reactance , XL = 2? f L

                                                 = 2 x 3.14 x 50 x 25 x 10-3

                                                 = 7.85 ?
