    0.7 bar means 0.77777777...

    Let

    x = 0.777......... ----(I)

    10x = 7.77........ ----(II)

    Subtract (II) from (I)

    • 10x - x = 7.777.... + 0.777...
    • 9x = 7
    • x = 7/9

    0.7 bar can be expressed as 7/9
