Given,
Lateral surface area = 94.2cm²
Height (h) = 5cm
Let the radius of the base be ' r '
We know,
Lateral surface area = 2πrh
94.2 = 2 × 3.14 × r × 5
94.2/ 2×3.14×5 = r
r = 3
Thus,
The radius of base is 3cm
Also,
Volume of the cylinder = πr²h
= 3.14 × 3² × 5 cm
= 3.14 × 9 × 5cm
= 141.3cm³
Thus,
The radius of the base is 3cm and the volume is 141.3cm³
