A/ benzoic acid is stronger acid because of resonance stability (due to more conjugation ) of carboxylate ion ....... B/ methal ittu sa toh hai ...upar bale bhaiya be bahut accha likha hai.....

(i) Benzoic acid is a stronger acid than acetic acid due to the electron withdrawing effect of benzene ring which stabilizes the carboxylate anion while alkyl group destabilises the carboxylate anion due to electron donating nature.

(ii) Methanal is more reactive than ethanal towards Nucleophilic addition reaction due to steric and electronic reasons. Presence of methyl group in ethanal hinders the approach of nucleophile to carbonyl carbon than in methanal. Methyl group also reduces the electrophilicity of the carbonyl more effectively than in methanal.
