Gaurav Seth 4 years, 6 months ago

p(x) = x²-5x-6
-b/a = 5
c/a = -6

p(6) = 0

Let the other zero be "a"

sum of zeros = 6 + a = -b/a

6 + a = 5

a = 5 - 6
   = -1

The other zero is -1
