Concave mirror Because we have a large object and we have to see it's full image So concave mirror is suitable as it will show a shorter image of a very large object.

Convex mirror as it provides a virtual, erect and DIMINISHED image . So because of the WIDE view it is used as rear view mirror in vehicles.
