7x² - 12x + 18

Find the sum of the roots:

Sum of the roots = α + β

α + β = - b/a

α + β = - (-12 ) / 7 = 12/7

Find the product of the roots:

Product of the roots = αβ

αβ = c/a

αβ = 18/7

Find the ratio:

α + β : αβ = 12/7 : 18/7

Multiply by 7:

α + β : αβ = 12 : 18

Divide by 6:

α + β : αβ = 2 : 3
