Karan owed to Mamta Rs.25, 000 on 1st April 2014. On the same date, Mamta drew a bill of the same amount at 3 months on Karan . The bill was accepted by Karan .Mamta discounted the bill with her bank on 4th April 2014@18% pa On the due date ,the bill was dishonored and noting charges Rs.250 were paid by the bank. Karan paid Rs.5, 250 in cash and issued cheque for remaining amount. Pass entries in the books of Mamta .
