Ethene means C2H4 and it is an alkene. The total number of covalent bonds in the molecule of ethene will be 6 ( one sigma bond and one pi bond between the two carbon atoms and 4 hydrogen atoms remain attached to the two carbon atoms by 4 sigma bonds )
