Graphite is an allotrophe of carbon.which is slippery in natureand has an hexagonal array like structure with bonding of three carbon one single bond.It has avery weak bond.It is very slippery in nature and is used in pencils and engines.

Hmm nice ! Graphite is an allotrope of carbon element. Its has layer by layer structure of haxagonal molecules and its very smooth .....slippery too!!! Graphite is used as an lubricant in machinery parts And in pencil leads it is used with clay ..... And we can mix it with petroleum jelly to make graphite grease....
