PEGGY WAS CONCERNED FOR HER BEHAVIOUR TO WANDA BUT WAS NOT EAGER IN ACCEPTING THAT OPENLY. SHE AFORECITED THAT SHE DIDN'T CALL HER A FOREIGNER. SHE ADDED THAT WHEN SHE USED TO TEASE HER ABOUT HER DRESSES, WANDA WAS GETTING IDEAS ABOUT HER DRAWINGS. PEGGY PONDERED THAT WANDA WOULD NOT HAVE WON THE CONTEST OTHERWISE.

Peggy said that she had never made Wanda cry. She thought Wanda is too dumb that she could not understand that one is making fun of her. Also, she said that she would never had teased Wanda if she had not told lie to everyone that she is having 100 beautiful dresses.

Though Maddie was caring about Wanda, Peggy was not. Wanda's absence didn't affected Peggy. She was really all right. She said lame excuses instead of admitting her mistake. She told Maddie that she never called her a foreigner or make fun of her.From het statements we can understand her cruel behavior towards Wanda.
