Find the roots of the equation x2+3x-(m+2)(m+5)=0 where m is constant
  • 1 answers

Yogita Ingle 4 years, 9 months ago

x2 +3x - (m+2)(m+5) = 0
⇒ x2 + (m+5)x - (m+2)x - (m+2)(m+5) = 0
⇒ x (x + m+5) - (m+2)(x+m+5) = 0
⇒ (x+m+5)(x-m-2) = 0
⇒ x = - m-5. and m+2
Roots are (-m-5) and (m+2)
