A circular garden has radius 56m. A 7m wide road runs outside around it. Find the area of road.

given the radius of the circular garden is 56m

hence it's area=πr²

=22/7×56×56

=22×8×56

=9856m²

radius of the garden along with path if the path is 7m wide=56-7

=49m

hence area of the garden along with path=πr²

=22/7×49×49

=22×7×49

=7546m²

therefore area of the path=9856-7546

=2310m²
