Shivam Rai 5 years ago

because in multicellular organisms the body size is usually complex if the gases and the required substances has to be transferred though diffusion then it to take a long time. For example if the gas is has to be transported through our lungs to the toe than it would take about three years to transfer a molecule of oxygen from our lungs to the toe

Haripal Singh 5 years ago

Because in higher organisms diffusion won't help in transportation and the transportation involves movement of metabolic waste, glucose, water, etc. so to work this out there is a need felt for transportation system for their displacement
