IUCD( Intrautrine devices) - These devices are plastic or metal objects placed in the uterus of the female by a doctor. These may be categorized as non- medicated IUDs (Lippes loop), copper releasing IUDs (Cu T, Cu 7) and the hormone releasing IUDs (Progestasert, LNG- 20), dalcon shield. Diaphragam- It is soft, cup shaped rubber device being used by women to cover entrance to the uterus. It is smeared with spermicide before use.
