'Democracy' means giving every citizen the right and power to make the decisions through their elected representatives. Power-sharing is dividing power among various social groups to give them equal representation in the governance.
Power-sharing is good for democracy:
1. It reduces the possibility of conflict among different social groups.
2. It ensures the stability of political order.
3. It ensures that none of the bodies which are the legislature, the executive, or the judiciary exercise ultimate power which is a system of checks and balance.
