given :-
perimeter of the rectangle = 80m
ATQ, length of the rectangle is one more meter than twice it's breadth.
let the breadth of the rectangle be x
therefore it's length will be = 2x + 1
formula to find the perimeter of a rectangle is 2(l + b)
so we can write,
➡ 2(l + b) = 80 meters
putting value of b and l,
➡ 2(2x + 1 + x) = 80m
➡ 3x + 1 = 80/2
➡ 3x = 40 - 1
➡ x = 39/3
➡ x = 13m
hence,
breadth of the rectangle = x
= 13m
and length of the rectangle = 2x + 1
= 2(13) + 1
= 27m

Let the breadth of the rectangle be x
We are given that the length of a rectangle is 8 0m more than its breadth.
So, the Lengthy of the rectangle is x+8
Perimeter of rectangle = 2(length + breadth)
2(x + x + 8) = 80
2x + 8 = 40
2x = 40 - 7 = 32
x = 32/2 = 16
We are given that perimeter is 80m
So,
So, Breadth = 16 m
Length = 16+8 = 24 m
