The Bay of Bengal Branch of South West Monsoon, after striking the West Bengal coast, goes up the Ganga valley and covers Bihar, UP, and reaches the Aravalli hills (Rajasthan), where it meets with the Arabian Sea Branch (Monsoon Lul) and finally, starts to retreat.
