Red colour is a dark colour which emphasize the sign of danger,because it has a more powerful wavelength than others which less scattered by this it connects our eyes faster than others.The uses of red light are -1)It is used in the traffic signals.2)it is used for the sign danger etc.

The red is less scattered by fog or smoke.Therefore , it can be seen in the same colour at a distance

Danger signals are red in color because it is scattered the least by air molecules. ... Since the color red has the highest wavelength of all the colors we can see it scattered the least. So, red light is used as a danger signal as it is able to travel the longest distance through the fog, rain, etc.
