Here, Mass of machine gun , M = 20 kg
mass of each bullet , m = 35 kg = 0.035 kg
velocity of bullet υ=400m/sυ=400m/s
Number of bullets/sec (n) =400/60=20/3 
Force required = rate of change of linear momentum of bullets =n(mυ)/t = 20/3  × 0.035×400/1 =93.3N
