Biotic component refers to livig things. For example plant,animal. Abiotic component refers to non living thing.For example,River mountain etc.

The difference between biotic and abiotic are : Abiotic : Abiotic factors refer to non - living physical and chemical elements in the ecosystem. ...Examples of abiotic factors are water , soil , air , sunlight and minerals . Biotic : Biotic factors are living or once - living organisms in the ecosystem . These are obtained from the biosphere and are capable of reproduction.
