Isobar is that element which differs in the chemical property but has the same physical property. So, we can say that isobars are those elements which have a different atomic number but the same mass number.
Example: 40S, 40Ar, 40Ca. 40Cl, and 40K.
Atoms that have an equal number of protons but a different number of neutrons and protons are called isotopes.
Example: 16O, 17O, and 18O.
