    3x+5/2x+1=1/3 

    3(3x + 5) = 1 (2x + 1)

      3(3x) + 3(5) = 2x + 1

    9x + 15 = 2x + 1

    9x - 2x = 1 - 15

    7x = -14

    x = -14/7 = -2
