The postmaster helped Lencho because he didn't want to shake Lencho's faith in God.He helped him by collecting 70 pesos from the post office employees and sending it to Lencho.

First, all the post office staff laugh at lencho ,that he is writing a letter to god, and then one of them feel that lencho is kind person as he believes on god , then he put his all efforts and ask his freinds also to hive money and by all putting all together he only collect 70 pesos and give to lencho on the behalf of god's letter .
