It was a temptation of Mr. Herriot t. o keep Tricki as his permanent guest because Mrs. Pumphery was used to send wine, eggs and brandy for Tricki to recover faster. Mr. Herriot knew that Tricki didn't need these thing to recover, so he took those things and enjoyed the royal breakfast.

It was a temptation to keep Tricki as a permanent guest because Mrs. Pumphrey send wine for Tricki to enrich his blood, eggs two dozen at a time and brandy. Tricki didn't need these things so Mr. Herriot had a good breakfast ,lunch and dinner.
