Solution: Given:- AB।। EF To prove:- AE/ED = BF/FC Construction:- draw AC Now in ∆ ADC , EP ll DC By basic proportionally theorem AE/ED = AP/PC ------- (1) Similarly in ∆ ABC AP/PC = BF/ FC --------- (2) From equ. (1) and (2) AE/ED = BF/FC Hence proved
