The answer is 26 [most probably]

First find x

3[x]+2 = 2[x+4]  [given]

3x + 2 = 2x + 8

3x - 2x = 8 - 2

therefore x = 6

Now,  y=3[x]+2 or y = 2[x+4]

Putting the value of x ,

we get y = 20

now x+y = 20 + 6

= 26
