magnification(m) = -3 (as image is real)
object distance(u)  = -10cm
image distance (v)=?

we know that   m= -v/u

-3 =  -v /-10

-3 = v/10

v =-3 * 10

v = - 30 cm

thus the image is 30 cm away from the concave mirror

By the formula of magnification i.e. m=-v/u we can find image distance. Putting in values 3=-v/-10 as object distance is always negative in concave mirror. We get image distance 30cm. So the image is virtual.
