1/f=1/v - 1/u 1/v=1/f + 1/u In concave lens the object and image distance is always negative then 1/v = -1/60+(-1)/30 =-3/60 so 1/v = -1/20 therefore v is -20cm. The image is virtual and erect. The size of the image is diminished.
