Acid are sour in taste and in case of acid blue litmus paper change into red and release H+ ions the two neme of acid are hydrochloric acid and oxalic acid

Acids are those chemical substances that have a sour taste. Example: Acetic acid and citric acid.

Properties of Acids

Acids are corrosive in nature.
They are good conductors of electricity.
Their pH values are always less than 7.
When reacted with metals, these substances produce hydrogen gas.
