Answer:

Sides of the triangle are 20 cm, 16 cm, 12 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Formula used:

If a, b, c are sides of triangle then

s=(a+b+c)/2

Given:

s-a=4 cm

s-b=8 cm

s-c=12 cm

Adding these we get

s+s+s-a-b-c = 24

3s-(a+b+c) =24

3s-2s = 24

s = 24

Now,

s-a=4

24 - a =4

a = 24 - 4 = 20 cm

s-b=8

24 - b = 8

b = 24 - 8 = 16 cm

s - c = 12

24 - c = 12

c = 24 -12 = 12 cm
