By Herons formula,
Area of equilateral triangle=√3a²/4
Given,
a= 2cm
Therefore,
Area of the triangle
= (√3a²/4) cm²
= (√3 × 2²/4) cm²
= (4√3 /4) cm²
= √3 cm²
