electrostatic means charge or electrons are at rest.As,we know that topic "Charging by rubbing" is part of electrostatic chapter but here we see charge or electrons are moving means electrons are transferred from one body to other.How is it possible?????

    I give in simple explanation. When u rub 2 things like the comman example the mat and the chappal(hope ur an indian) one of the object is by nature positively charged and the other is negatively charged. Hence on rubbing we produce friction. Friction intern produce heat, hence making the charged particles to move a lot. With this constant movement the particles move (helplessly) from negative charged body to postive charged body. HOPE I COULD HELP U WITH MY EXPLANATION...E>
