RESERVES Reserves are the subset of stock. Resources which are used by the existing technology but their use have not started yet Example - water in dams,forests STOCKS The resources which have potential to satisfy the needs of people but we haven't appropriate technology to access them by the existing technology. Example- water is compound it contains two gases but we can't use them.
