Astigmatism is a problem of the eye caused by a defect in the spherical curvature of the eye leading to bluured vision. This condition leads to an eyes inability to focus light, since images are not formed on one point. This leads to blurred vision. Correction ......... = This condition is corrected by: 2. -Use of corrective eyeglasses 3. -Use of contact lenses 4. -Use of of corrective refractive surgery.

A common imperfection in the eye's curvature. With astigmatism, the front surface of the eye or the lens inside the eye is curved differently in one direction than the other.
