Copper sulphate CuSO⁴ It can be prevented by dissolving any metal which is more reactive than copper like Potassium, Sodium. K +CuSO⁴-->KSO⁴ +Cu. Or Na+CuSO⁴-->NaSO⁴+Cu.

When we heat copper in air tgen copper will react with oxygen and thus form copper oxide Cu+O2= CuO To reverse this reaction react copper oxide with hydrogen so that the brown colour of copper will return back CuO + H2 = Cu+ H2O
