Kx−2y=3 and 3x+y=5 are intersecting lines

⇒ form intersecting lines a1x+b1y+c1=0

and a2x+b2y+c2=0

⇒a1/a b1/b2

⇒ k/3 ≠  −2/1

∴k ≠ −b

∴ the value of k is not equal to−6
