But the carbon atoms present in diamonds are structured in crystalline form & are bonded in a stronger tetrahedron pattern making it the hardest mineral of all, whereas the atomic structure of graphite are griped in an amorphous form. ... So the crystal lattice turns shiny. Thank you.
