Light industries: Light industry are industries light and less captive intense products or product equipment. Light industry is more consumer oriented . It produces small consumer goods.

The items that come under this category are, Knitting needles, fuse wire, watches, electric bulbs, paint brushes.

Heavy industries: Heavy industry are industries that have high capital intense products or product equipment. The produce large, heavy products at bulk. It produces business oriented goods.

The items that come under this category are, oil, brassware, sewing machine, ship building, automobiles.
